In the beginning, when the galaxies are mere cosmic dust, there exists the first being in the Universe. He is Gal Ak Tus, the last survivor of a dead cosmos. He begins to Hunger.
Forces evolve in this new Universe: the mysterious Celestials, monomaniacle Elders of the Universe, and the Watchers; Who vow to observe other races but never to interfere. The Warlike Kree and Chitauri rise, and their galactic empires battle for millions of ‘Earth’ years.
A millions before recorded history, the omnipotent Celestials experiment on humanity’s ancestors, creating the the Godlike Eternals and Deviants. Hundreds of thousands of years later the Kree would attempt to recreate these experiments during a super-soldier arms race with the Chitauri, resulting in the creation of the Inhumans. The Deviants and Eternals would eventually go to war with one another neither side winning, both sides losing. The Deviants were driven into the oceans to escape the fallout from the war, while the Eternals would leave the planet all together.
Humanity thrives, after the war between Eternal and Deviant despite the conflict creating the Ice Age. Nations bloom in Atlantis and Valusia, then fall in a cataclysm when mystical energies were used improperly. This resulted in many new changes for the world. Atlantean Magic resulted in the sinking of Atlantis, but also those weilders of the dark magic were cursed for ever to walk the world at night, and crave the blood of living things. The mighty Eternals returned, seeking worship as Gods, such as Thor and Hercules. Kang, a conqueror from the future, came back through time in his mighty Sphinx to rule Egypt as Pharoah Rama-Tut. The Deviants greet the arrival of the Celestials Third Host in hopes of being considered the rightful heirs of the planets, but were routed by the mighty God-like Eternals. Who in reward for their being the clear evolutionary superior were awarded a Higher Dimensional plane for themselves (Mount Olympus/Asgard).
A.D.
Armored knights stride the lands, such as the First Black Knight and King Arthur. Enlightenment washes over the world, starting in Asia and heading West to Europe and eventually America. The dragon Fin Fang Foom appears for the first time in China around in the 1600s. Count Vlad Dracul begins a reign of blood in Transylvania. While Kid Colt, the original Ghost Rider, the Rawhide Kid, and the man called Frank, would take the Wicked Wild American West. A secret Brotherhood forms in Europe: The Hellfire Club.
Golden Age.
In the 20th center, the world goes to war for the first time, and the first superhero team appears. The Freedom’s Five — Union Jack, the Phantom Eagle, the Crimson Cavalier, Sir Steel, and the Silver Squire — fights for justice in World War I. Yet the end of the War would also bring the end of their Careers.
The War to End All Wars doesn’t. In World War II, the battlefield is ruled by brave men like Sergeant Nick Fury and Citizen V. But most startlingly, this era becomes the Golden Age of Heroes, as the first true super heroes arise. Super-Soldier Captain America, the Atlantean sub-Mariner, the android Human Torch, and heroes Spitfire, Union Jack II, Toro and Bucky form the first supernormal team, The Invaders. The fight totalitarians such as Red Skull, Baron Zemo, Baron von Strucker, the Vampire Baron Blood, even early Chitauri insurgents like Baron Wolfgang, and also Adolf Hitler himself.
Still millions die, and millions more are scarred, including a young Auschwitz survivor who will develope terrifying magnetic powers and fervent hatred of humanity.
The Cold War ends the Golden Age. Captain America is lost at Sea, frozen in the artic ace, and the Sub-Mariner wanders the world devoid of purpose due to the loss of his mother during the War. A few heroes such as Marvel Boy and the Blonde Phantom remain, but the world settles into life without super heroes.
Silver Age.
At the dawn of the Silver Age of Heroes, roughly starting in 1995, the mutant telepath Professor Charles Xavier trains young Jean Grey in using her powers. Soon he has other students, and dubs them uncannily the X-Men.
Stephen Strange returns from mystical training in Asia and takes a house in Greenwich Village. Strange eventually becomes Master of the Mystic Arts and soon would become Earth’s Sorceror Supreme.
James MacDonald Hudson invents a suit which gives it’s wearer superhuman abilities. He becomes Weapon Alpha, the first hero working Canada’s new Department H. It is unknown during this time that Canada formerly employed mutants for black ops work during the second World War.
Explorers Reed Richards and Ben Grimm, would draw girlfriend Sue Storm and her brother, into piloting a rocket into the stars. Only to pilot through cosmic dust that would send their vessel crashing back to Earth, all four survivors would develope awesome new superpowers. The Newly Christened Fantastic Four — Mister Fantastic, the Thing, Invisible Girl, and a new Human Torch — vow to use their powers only to help mankind, … and each other. They would soon become the first Dimensional Travellers in recorded History.
After the terrorist attacks of the 1990’s, the United Nations would recognize the need for a War on Terror. Together the Security Council of the United Nations created a World Wide Directorate; S.H.I.E.L.D. to control and subvert terrorism, but also to control the fear-to-come use of superpowers within Terrorist Organizations.
Almost simultaneously Terror took new names as well. The Brotherhood of Mutants began terrorist assaults upon the United States and every country in the world would feel their might before it was done. Their Leader, Magneto, would battle for the rights of mutant kind with the age old theory of an Eye for Eye. While Hydra would take a different route in their attempts at global order, and fear. Using intelligence and assasinations to garner much political power through communist and dictatorial countries. These actions would push the bounds of ‘decent Warfare’ to new heights. Spurring SHIELD to create a group of counter-terrorists called Weapon X. Only to see their creation grow to become more feared and loathesome than the groups they were combatting when put in the hands of the insane clone that young Auschwitz survive, the man known only as Joseph.
A new Era was dawning with the end of the Cold War.
With the end of the Cold War, and the beginning of the War on Terror focus shifted away from potentially world ending Weapons of Nuclear copacity. Giving rise to new weapons. Humans themselves. Since the days of Captain America the humans of the world has secretly raced itself in the efforts to create the newer, more perfect model of itself. While ironically spurning the natural evolution of Mutation, due to the nature of their mutations being destructive.
